Reconciliation Week

We acknowledged Reconciliation Week at OPS in a variety of ways.  On Monday our captains attended the Civic Centre, participating in a range of activities recognising Reconciliation including witnessing a smoking ceremony, speeches and Indigenous culture.

On Tuesday afternoon, we held a special assembly to recognise and talk about he importance of Reconciliation Week, with the highlight being Mrs Dyt’s reading of the book “Somebody’ Land”.

Classes across the school also had their own discussions and activities in their classrooms throughout the week.
